“Go left” is the catch praise of a campaign whose purpose is to combat the notion of 'Right is Right’ or to follow the crowd. The concept behind the phrase is to encourage learners to think outside the box, to think differently, to 'go left'. adapted this strategy because in Korea going against the grain as it is referred to, is strongly frowned upon, however, it was necessary to challenge cultural norms in order to encourage my learners to be creative. As well, as a left handed person this has been a long running concept incorporated in my pedagogy and my life as an artist.

Featured here are two separate art displays, the first involves cartooning using the medium of charcoal, pencil and colour pencil and the other project had senior students work in the medium of wood carving to create Western Canadian totem poles or Korean totems called 'Jangsung'
